Dear historians - help!
I'm slowly but surely working on some historical fiction and as a French and Indian War re-enactor, I'm very particular about having the history right. While I'm pretty solid on the history surrounding what I do directly, I'm still working on finding more primary sources for Colonial American everyday life. Does anyone have suggestions for colonial life sources?

Lots of universities will publish online resource guides such as this one from USC.

They are great first step into seeing what types of primary sources are available. If you do a google search for "18th century american primary source guide" you'll get dozens to choose from various universities. The ones local to the area you are interested might be a bit more useful. Some of the resources will require subscriptions but there should be many that are available to you for free.
The other crucial resource are the references and bibliographies of the secondary literature that you have read on the subject. I imagine there is a mountain literature on the subject.
