Ok, to the matter at hand. This is the picture:

I'm wondering what this image is portraying and who or what is the source behind it. I found it while looking up medieval bosnian history.
From what I see there are Hungarian knights to the left, the latin text mentions Bosnia, and I know there have been numerous battles between the Bosnians and Hungarians during the middle ages.
That particular woodcut is from the 1488 printed edition of the Chronicon Hungarorum sometimes known as the Thuróczy Chronicle. The copy of the text that was digitized doesn't look to be foliated or paginated, but I guess it would be p. 230.
The interesting thing is that that particular woodcut is used several times throughout the edition to illustrate different battles. Here, for example, it depicts a fight "against the Croatians". And here it visualizes the rebellion of the future Ladislaus I and Geza (the mentioned dukes) against King Solomon.
My Hungarian and Bosnian history is not great, but I'm pretty sure the particular woodcut you chose headlines a section about the 1415 Battle of Doboj, which was a victory for Bosnian duke Hrvoje Vukcic-Hrvatinic ("dux herwoija" in the Latin) and a combined Bosnian-Ottoman army against the Hungarians.
