Doing a research project and am not sure what is being pictured here.

For context, its an art piece from a 1970s Black Arts Movement participant entitled "40 Acres and a Blade" so I'm assuming its a tool for working the fields. I'm sure you historians get the play on "40 Acres and a Mule."
