I am currently researching the impact of the American entry into the war, exploring all the typical areas such as the importance of the American economic output, and indeed the performance of American troops on the battlefield.

I was just wondering if the good people at r/AskHistorians could suggest to me some historians who have argued that the impact of America, either on the ground with its troops or in general, was relatively unimportant to the outcome of the conflict.
