I am trying to do an annotated bibliography for an essay concerning the use of robes, tunics, and skirts vs trousers throughout history. I have come across people saying that the Greeks and Romans thought that trousers were "ridiculous" or "barbaric" but I could not find any sources for these claims. Thanks
