The 29 adults on the Mayflower with known surviving descendants now have tens of millions of descendants. That's generally true of anyone who lived several centuries ago. After a half dozen generations, either your descendants have died out, or they have spread far and wide. I myself am a Mayflower descendant. People like Richard Gere are descended from no less than 8 separate Mayflower ancestors.

So talking of specific lines and families is hard to do. Are there poor descendants of the Mayflower? Of course there are. Mayflower descendants can be found all across the US in all stratas of society.
