Could you upload a better picture of the markings towards the tip of the blade? It looks like a canon to me, but I'm not certain because of the glare.
I forwarded the photos to a friend who is an expert in Indian arms and will update you on what he has to say. Based on my (fairly limited) experience with Indian blades, this doesn't look like anything I could recognise.
