These were recently passed down to me and I am trying to understand what they would have been for. Thank you for your help.
To me they look like...across the top, WW1 Iron Cross 2nd Class, possibly War Merit Cross without swords, WW2 Iron Cross 2nd Class, in the middle, 4 year army service medal (blue ribbon), Mother's Cross (could be bronze or gold), across the bottom DRL Silver Sports Badge, SA Sports Badge and DRL Bronze Sports Badge.
Hi, while you're waiting for answers, you might be able to get started with some of the links in our sub's wiki - see under IDing Photos or Uniforms: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskHistorians/wiki/militaryrecords#wiki_germany
Not sure about all of them, but here are the ones I can identify:
The one on the top centre looks like a War Merit Cross; the top right appears to be an Iron Cross, Second Class; the third one down in the middle is the Cross of Honour of the German Mother in Bronze; at the very bottom appears to be the SA Sports Badge.
