On their website NASA claims that the "Bumper-WAC" was the "first human-made object to enter space" whereas most other sources say it was the Nazi made A-4 V-2 rocket in 1945. I thought this discrepancy was very strange. Is it something to do with what NASA considers to be "space altitude"? Thank you in advance!
