So far, the only words I know that kinda applies are very specific: would be a Halbderdier, Scytheman, Pikeman and Spearman, but no real general word that would apply to them all.
And even if we do use the specific terms, what do you call someone who uses a Billhook? A Guisarme? a Glaive? A Fauchard? A Voulge? Or were there no specific words ever used?
Let's say even we go by Victorian historians (with their fetish for categorizing and naming everything, despite sometimes getting things wrong), was there ever such a word? Poleman?

Billhook - Billman
Guisarme - Guisarmier
Glaive - Glaivier

Voulge - Voulgier
An overarching term might be guisarmier, since guisarme (at least in our current understanding) was often (and still is) used as a generic term for a polearm. Please note that I wouldn't consider myself an expert specifically in French weaponry of the Middle Ages, so if someone else comes along better read in specifically this field, I would defer to them, but in addition to a focus on Byzantine warfare in the Macedonian and Komnenian eras, I do study the equipment and battle tactics of medieval European and Near-Eastern societies in general, so I feel at least somewhat qualified to answer. However, I am unaware of any contemporary or Victorian description using such a term.
I can attribute at least the use of terms Billman and Voulgier though in recent academic literature.
