I'm going to tag /u/Subs-man here because they are able to comment more on the validity of the tests administered in general but I am just throwing a warning out there, that there have been severe criticisms of this test as well as the Rohrschah tests administered to the Nazi leaders in Nuremberg. Zilmer et. al. write about this here and Josè Brunner in "Oh those crazy cards again": A history of the debate on the Nazi Rorschachs, 1946-2001. Political Psychology (2001), 22, 233–261 delivers the most poignant criticism.

Again, I'll rely on /u/Subs-man to know more but in essence, the conditions under which these tests were administered can best be described as lacking. The foremost problem is that little to no verbatim notes were taken in some cases as well as the setting for the study: The psychologists, Kelley and Gustav Gilbert, met these men imprison after they had undergone what certainly can be described as a trauma, losing the war and their positions. Furthermore, the psychologists relied on interpreters to administer their tests and that they didn't seem to follow some of the established protocols for these tests (though that seems to have been a main problem for the Rohrschach tests).

Kelley, Gilbert, as well as Leon Goldensohn, the psychiatrist who cared for the defendants at Nuremberg, have all written books, so there is more information there too.
