I just watched 300. I know it isn't very historically accurate, including the 'magicians' that the Persians had (bomb throwers). Did the Persians have 'mystic' units in their armies (at another time) though? What about any other empires?

I enjoyed the movie but I know a lot of it was just made up, exaggerated, etc.

I just find reading about the East and West interacting to be really interesting.
