As the title implies, hoping someone could point me to authors and books that deal with piracy in the Atlantic world leading up to the late 18th century. I have been playing the video game, Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, which I thoroughly enjoy and as a historian myself would like to know more about. Though I have little knowledge about the Caribbeans outside of Slave religion.
