I am currently reading Empire of the Summer Moon and tribes that didn't utilize cavalry attacks were easily dispatched by those that did. What about before that? Did Native Americans line up on battlefields like Europeans? Did they utilize guerrilla tactics?
Which time period? Which area of the Americas? Which Native Americans?
Any answer will be different depending on how you address those three questions first.
