In the book "We Two," a biography of the grooming, courtship, marriage, and earlier phase of Queen Victoria's and Prince Albert's reign, the author mentioned that this herding practice was one of Prince Albert's favorite activities. I tried googling for the term but apparently I'm not using the right keywords. I remember there being an actual term for this activity, possibly in German. Thanks!
