Could you edit your post and include a description of the video? For people checking from work, it makes a difference if the video is "the history of fluffy bunny rabbits" or some "the Holocaust never happened" nonsense.

It just seems arbitrary. What is it showing? Civilizations? Political borders? States? It's as if human history was some big game of Civilization, which is just a ridiculous way to look at history.

In the part of the world I'm familiar with there are too many errors to point out. The Safavids popping out of the Abbasid caliphate in the 9th century? That's about 600 years early. I think they mean the Samanids, but then they include the Samanids to the north so I don't wtf they're thinking of. They also plainly don't understand how the Abbasid Caliphate worked which is why they maintain it as like a separate territory from the Buyids even though the Buyids had occupied Baghdad and effectively made the Caliph subservient to themselves as Amirs.

I could go on, but I just don't see the point of the video.
