Huh? Yeah, some countries share languages, but places like Switzerland have multiple spoken languages (Romansh, Italian, German, French). I also wouldn't say that there are so many languages in Scandinavia. Hell, there are more languages spoken in the Iberian Peninsula than in Scandinavia (perhaps someone with more knowledge will correct me, I don't know how widespread Gallego, Catalan, and the others are in their respective subregions).

Are there? In fact I would argue that Scandinavia has fairly low linguistic diversity by Western European standards. Educated Danes, Swedes and Norwegians can all communicate with one another with fairly little difficulty. Places like Germany or Italy have much greater linguistic diversity.
