Not what you're looking for, but the Lizzie Borden house (famous house in Massachusetts where a girl murdered her family) which was built sometime in the 1800's has a layout without corridors. The layout looks like this. This house seems to get around walking through everyones rooms by having a few enterances and 2 stairways, one leading up to the master bedroom, and another to the the rest of the rooms.
