My grandmother was born in 1923. So she was almost 20 during WW2. Lived in Southern Sweden, around 60km south of Gothenburg. She sais she heard bombs and aeroplanes etc. Could this be true?
Sweden was not bombed during WW2. But seeing as she was from southern Sweden, perhaps she lived close enough to Denmark so she could have heard planes and bombings there.
The allies did carry out some bombing raids on German targets in Denmark during the war.
