Recent archeological discoveries of hundreds of pre-Islamic Christian tombstones, as well as the use of the Christian cross as camel clan-symbols is showing us a picture of that Somalia may have been a harbour of early Christianity. Any idea as to how widespread it may have been amongst pre-Islamic Somalis? Any records from Christian monks and travelers visiting the area?
Very interesting, I'd like to know the answer to that question. Many Somalis dont acknowledge that it ever existed, This could be the beginning of a beautiful thing.
