When the nazis came in, people supported hitler. He would throw big parades and rally's, I would assume you have seen the photos of Nuremberg. The nazis did change social attitudes though. Nobody prior to this period would have dreamt of public damage, however the Nazi's incited the Kristilnacht (Night Of Broken Glass) and Ben people joined in with them. They went around defacing shops and Synagogues, and assaulted some Jewish citizens they encountered. The social attitude to Jews was changing. Further changes that were supported was Hitlers takeover of education . All teachers swore and oath and had to teach exactly what they were told. Questions in books were changed, with one famous example asking "how much fuel would be needed for a fully loaded bomber to level the Warsaw Ghetto". If this brainwash wasn't enough, children were continually moulded outside of school as well. Boys had to join the Hitler Youth and Girls joined the League Of German Maidens. These two groups represented a continual shift in parental attitudes at the time, with families accepting that they spend less time together for what hitler called the good of the country. Whilst at these meetings children were taught skills that Hitler deemed useful. Boys learnt to box and girls learnt how to maintain a home. The girls were also taught the three K's, three things that they should aim to achieve. Women who were able to have children at the time would often, voluntarily, leave their husbands and families to go to fertility camps. Effectively these camps were Rape Camps. The women would get a bed and be expected to continually have sex with any and all men who came into the camp. Hitler did this to increase the "Aryan Race".
