On June 1 the Leibstandarte contained 21.386 men with 45 self propelled guns 50 Mark 4s, 38 Mark 5's (Panther) and 29 Mark 6's (Tiger 1)

On September the Mortar detachment was added with 3 15 CM batteries and 1 21 CM battery

The SS Leibstandarte was usually the best equipped unit of the German at that stage of the war. So regular units would be less strong.
