Any playwright who wasn't Shakespeare?

John Fletcher would be a pretty solid example. Was probably considered the best playwright going (in england anyway) in his lifetime and few decades after but well at this point you could almost say his claim to fame was that he collaborated with Shakespeare on a couple of plays.
