It was recommended to me that I post in this sub asking for help in identifying this interesting little bobble that I picked up last weekend. http://imgur.com/a/pOhvP I purchased this from a gentleman at a flea-market. He had owned it for over 40 years and was never able to ascertain an origin.

It came in a protective coin sleeve. It is made out of some kind of metal, the photos make it look copper but it is actually more silver looking, tarnished, when rubbed a black residue comes off on skin. It is slightly warped. Has intricate carving and holes on each side and is 1.5" in diameter.

Any thoughts or information is greatly appreciated!

EDIT The diameter of this is 1.5". It's weight is 10 grams. I cannot dent it with a nail but I can scratch it and an ice cube melts immediately when it comes in contact with the object. Below is an image showing it's width: http://imgur.com/azBAFAc
