During an attack on a castle, would it be a real possibility that archers might run out of arrows? (And I mean their collective stock running dry.) If so, would it be a real risk from the very start, or only something to worry about after a lengthy, prolonged battle?
Follow up question: Were arrows manufactured within the castles? If not, how were they transported and did any weapons get stolen en route?
