The bible claims that a large number of Jews:
were slaves in Egypt
were treated harshly
escaped
and miracles/plagues were performed along the way.
Is any of this supported by sources other than the bible or archeology? If so which claims.
If the answer is no, would this be unusual if these events actually happened? It seems odd to me that no one would leave any artifacts with Hebrew on them on a cross content journey and no Egyptian record would make note of events this unusual and important.
