After watching peaky blinders last night it left me to wondering what effect did PTSD have on the people returning from the war to home?
As a side question, was there an increase in crime due to the trained killers all coming back?
Follow up question: in Peaky Blinders they also make a point to show the veterans using various drugs like opium and cocaine. How common was drug use in the returning vets and how was it seen by the general public?
