I was just wondering how historical scholarship at large views the Buddha. Regardless of whether he had supernatural abilities, is there evidence that such a man existed? Is it reasonable to think he was real? Or, would the objective position simply be that we have no idea if there is any truth behind the stories of Buddha's life?
