Firstly I apologise if this breaks any rules I only briefly skimmed over the rules and I'm new to reddit and it's etiquette, If it does break rules please delete my post and pm me the best place to post.
I would like to start off by saying I love history, mainly pre 1100's but I still love it all. I would like to currently take the best course of action to learning more at an indepth amount per (era)?. One of my favourites is mesopotamian civilation followed closely by Macedonia.
I'm currently thinking of taking a university course or two every semester at night just for the knowledge factor and would like opinions on what would be a good route to go on the professional education side of things.
I'm also looking for book/textbook recommendations for ancient history. I would like to add though that it doesn't have to be about my favourites as I love it all:)

The advice that is regularly dispensed here on what you'd need to do to become an educator depends on what level we're talking about. Are you looking to teach high school? Universities? I'd add that information to your post so that people can give you the best advice possible.
