I can't seem to find much online. I understand that they would have likely been convicted of treason by the crown - but would they have even stuck around the colonies or escaped to France or other countries in Europe? It's strange to me that the leading men of revolution all could have died and had their land taken from them. History would be completely different.
As an additional question:
do we have a reason to think they were concerned and discussed among themselves the potential consequences they might face as individuals in case of failure?
If so, what was the general tone of these discussions?
