There is already precedent for addressing the Speaker of the House as "Madame Speaker" (.vs. Mr. Speaker).

Ambassadors are addressed as "Madame Ambassador" (.vs. Mr. Ambassador).

You might be thinking that the term Madame does not exactly correspond to each Mister but it follows the French pattern of "Monsieur le president" and "Madame le president".
