I usually see/read things about Egypt, Carthage, Kush, Mansa Musa, and European colonialism other than that there seems to be nothing else about Africa. Why is that?
I don't mean to discourage you, but I don't believe this question can be answered in a way that is up to this sub's standards. Specifically the prohibition on speculation and anecdotes.
