I found a Wikipedia article about "Madrasian culture", which was a tool-using culture in South India from 2.5 million years ago. Doesn't that completely fly in the face of human history?

There's actually a few articles about human cultures in India existed hundreds of thousands of years before humans would've migrated out of eastern Africa. Are these sites accepted to exist, or are they not generally considered to be real by mainstream archaeologists/anthropologists?

I think this might be a better question for an anthropologist. Even early tool use for homo sapiens isn't in the realm of historians, as it happened before any forms of writing were developed. Post this to /r/askanthropology and you'll get a better answer.
