Need help identifying a battle between France and Spain that is referenced in this passage from War and Peace

I was reading War and Peace and cannot for the life of me figure out which battle Tolstoy is talking about in Part 2, Book 5, Chapter 1. This is the passage:

The Spaniards, through the Catholic clergy, offer praise to God for their victory over the French on the fourteenth of June, and the French, also through the Catholic clergy, offer praise because on that same fourteenth of June they defeated the Spaniards.

Note that the year is 1811, so perhaps he is referring to a battle from the ongoing Peninsular War? But I couldn't figure out which battle was hailed as a victory by both sides. The Battle of Balien was in June/July, but it was an overwhelming Spanish victory.

If anyone can help, I would be very appreciative! I've tried to find an annotated edition that has more information, but so far haven't had any luck.

Did you take into account that Russia at that time was using Julian calendar? So June 14 in Russia was I think June 26 for the rest of the Europe.

For example, in the very beginning of the Part 3 Tolstoy calls the June 12 as the day when Napoleon invaded Russia. It's June 24 using Gregorian calendar.
