My sister is planning to put a time capsule under the new floorboards of her (400 year old) house; as a historian, what would be some good things to add for the future historians? (With a side question, what do you wish someone had preserved from 100 years ago?!)
I like to find personel things, like pictures and letters. Something that let's me glimpse what live was for someone from the past.
A CD or DVD for sure. Imagine even 20 years from now how obsolete they will have become.
A contemporary map. My mother has an old globe from the 1940's and it's really interesting to see how borders and countries have changed.
