There are dozens of collections of ancient Greek inscriptions from stone slabs (stelai), ostraca (potsherds), and pottery. As only an amateur historian knowing only a small amount of ancient Greek, this looks like a secret world of knowledge I never knew existed. But it seems like this world is solely visited by classicists. Probably much of the inscriptions are useful more for spelling and meaning of Greek words, and it makes sense that this is not translated; anyone who studies the spelling of ancient Greek as a scholar doesn't need a translation. But many of these are things like tribute lists or public borrowing, and surely people who don't know ancient Greek might want to read this.
The only translation of any inscriptions into English I have found is "Greek Historical Inscriptions, 404-323 BC" by Rhodes and Osborne. Do any other collections of inscriptions with English translations exist?
