I think it is more appropriate to ask what specifics events they have apologized for as to the best of my knowledge no one has ever said "we are sorry for colonizing you" but you have cases of "we apologize for X".

Some Canadian examples:

*Residential schools: PM Stephan Harper offered an official apology in 2008. The United church offered one in 1998. The Anglican church apologized in 1993. Recently Trudeau has asked the Catholic church, who ran the majority of the schools, to offer and official apology but to the best of my knowledge they have yet to do this. The Truth and Reconciliation was called to make amends to residential school survivors.

*Bill C-302 reversed the treason conviction of Louis Riel the leader of the Metis people who fought a resistance against the Canadian government.

*Last year the premier of Manitoba offered an apology for the Sixties Scoop. To the best of my knowledge they are the only province or state to do so. Currently Aboriginal people are supposed to have 'first dibs' on Aboriginal children in the system to try and rectify the problems that the Sixties Scoop.

*An inquiry has recently been made into missing and murdered Aboriginal women in Canada. Not an apology but hopefully they will find a way to rectify the situation so we loose less of our sisters.

Those are the government and religious ones I can think of. Other smaller organizations have certain policies trying to rectify the past for instance using affirmative action in Aboriginal education to compensate the effects of residential schools and other events that have effected Aboriginal education.
