I'm not familiar with any case matching that exact description (among other things, an unmarried woman in England in the 1800s would have been legally able to own land without any need for a legal sex-change). The closest case I know of is that of Sir Ewan Forbes, though that was in the 1900s. Born in 1912 and registered as the third daughter of the 18th Lord Sempill, he began living as a man in 1945 and officially re-registered his birth as male in 1952. He married his housekeeper Isabella Mitchell soon after.

Following his elder brother William's death in 1965 he was involved in a years-long legal dispute with his cousin John over inheritance of a baronetcy title (which went to the first male heir); the Scottish Court of Session ruled in his favor and the Home Secretary ultimately upheld this decision.
