What is the oldest known ancestor of the Spanish language?

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate subreddit to ask this, so a suggestion for a more proper subreddit would be appreciated.

What do you have in mind by oldest known? The oldest attested ancestor of Spanish is, of course, Old Latin. The oldest ancestor of Spanish of which we can reliably claim indirect knowledge is Proto-Indo-European, the ancestor of (besides Latin and Romance languages) Albanian, Armenian, Greek, Indo-Iranian, Balto-Slavic, Germanic, and Celtic.
