Do you mean who was the first Historian? or when the first Historical records Occur? answer to one is Herodotus(or Thuycidies if you want to be pedantic with the term Historian, 5th century BC). Answer to option two is the Bronze Age(3000BC ish onwards), when we can chart somewhat well the rise and fall of kings and Empires and the like. If anybody knows of any Neolithic historical texts let me know.
