In a lot of paintings depicting battles from the US war of indepence the british soldiers look much older than the americans, often even grey-haired. Why is that?
Can you give some examples? This is a specialty of mine, and it's not really something I had noticed before. That's not saying that it isn't true, just that I need to think about it with specific examples.
