I've recently gotten super into the history of Britain. I don't really have much knowledge on the subject, I just find it fascinating. I'd like to start as early as possible and make my way up to the Roman Invasion(?) Does anyone know of any good documentaries on the subject?
Simon Schama's 'History of Britain' series is top notch. He really captures the spirit of the people involved, so I love to recommend his works to someone that's hesitant about the study of history. In short, it's not just 'names and dates'.
