I see photographs of the trials where those being tried are wearing oddly bland bland outfits that look a lot like uniforms removed of all decorations. What were those being tried at Nuremberg required to wear during the processes of the trial?
Officers were stripped of their rank, titles, and awards. And only permitted to wear their uniforms bare. Hermann Goring was notably pissed off about this. The rest on trial were civilians who were in charge of departments in the Nazi Regime, and therefore didn't have a uniform to wear decorations on.
