At least you should read the Phoenician creation story, translated in antiquity by Philo of Byblos and in the Middle Ages written down by Eusebius. You can compare this to the Greek creation story.

Also a book that might be something to read is "The conflict between El and Baal in Canaanite religion" You should lend this book from a library as it covers mainly Ugaritic mythology. It is also quite old, but in recent years there hasnt been major breakthroughs about Phoenician religion as far as i know. Why i like this book, is because it covers the change in the worship of El (Kronos) and Baal Hadad (Zeus).

You should also keep in mind that Phoenician religion is influenced by Egyptian mythology.

Also you should read the religion part of "The World of the Phoenians" but im sure you already knew of the existence. It covers the idea of the three major gods in Phoenician cities (In Tyre: Astarte, Melqart, and another one i forgot...) The Greek idea of the three brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon derived obviously from the Phoenician idea.

Which brings me to something else: In for example Sidon they worship other gods than in for example Tyre.

About Carthage i sadly dont know much about religion, except that also Carthage is influenced by Egyption mythology. Baal Hammon and Amon for example, the ankh and the Tanit-sign.

Yeah i definetely should read my books about Carthage and Phoenicia again.

Btw, i dont know any books that compare Greek mythology to Phoenician, or Carthaginian mythology.
