I could add to the list France (even thou the vichy government did collaborated with the nazis but it didn't declared war on the allies) and Hungary (who didn't switched side just because of a previous occupation by Germany)
Do you have any examples handy showing mockery of Italy for switching sides?
I guess follow up, did Yugoslavia swich sides? I know the rest of what the OP is referring to, but is the Independent state of Croatia considered a continuation of the Yugoslav state? Or is there a different event that I don't know about?
Finland hardly switched sides. Finland, for the whole ww2, fought for only one thing: Continued existence and freedom of Finland and the Finnish people. The reason Finland was in war with the USSR and allowed German troops on Finnish soil was USSR aggression in 1939-1941. Politically Finland was, for the whole time, more similar with the western Allies than with Germany, but since the allies left Finland, and the Baltic states to the vultures, the only viable option was co-belligerence and co-operation with Germany. As the situation drastically changed until summer 1944, Finland would no longer have a chance to cooperate with Germany and made a truce with USSR. One of the terms for the truce was that Axis troops were to be forced away from Finland, which led to the brief Lapland war.
