As far as I know, we have the bow, the crossbow, and gun in terms of projectile weapons, but which one is more common in lets say Spain or Germany? and how would they use them? like were early firearms and crossbows used like muskets (e.g. stand in formation and shoot in sync)?
oh and also, were bows exclusive to the English (assuming if they still used them at that time)?
