He's someone who has a lot of respect, especially considering he was a General fighting for Nazi Germany, both as a commander and as a soldier.
I've heard...I guess rumours for example that he allowed Jews to escape that were captured, essentially had he of been an actual supporter of the Nazis that Germany would have been much harder to beat (since he wouldn't have been executed).
