The previous poster is sadly mistaken: Caesar had no confirmed sons. Octavian (later Augustus) was not Caesar's son, but his grand-nephew. Though he was adopted by Caesar in the latter's will and ostentatiously maintained a display of filial piety (though adoption generally did not involve transfer of such ties to one's adopted father, certainly not as strongly as Augustus let on) he was not Caesar's son. Ptolemy XV, called sometimes Ptolemy Caesar but more frequently Caesarion, was probably Caesar's biological son (for more on Caesarion's possible parentage, see here, but was illegitimate (and could not be legally involved in any inheritance as a non-citizen). Whether he really was Caesar's son is, legally speaking, largely irrelevant. There was no possibility that Caesarion would inherit anything--legally he could not as a non-citizen, and pragmatically Caesar apparently never acknowledged him as his son. Caesarion was born on June 23, 47 and was killed on Octavian's orders sometime in 30 after the fall of Alexandria while attempting to flee to India
