Brazil's Independence Day in September 7, 1822. Is Britannica wrong, or was April 4, 1822 some other important date in Brazilian history?

April 4th is not a Brazilian national holiday or known historically significant date. The foundational rock was put there on April 4th 1922 to mark that the spot had officially been donated by the president for a religious monument, following popular demand.
