I'm currently working on a project about the Wesley brothers, the founders of the Methodist denomination. The birthdates I've found give both Old and New Styles - which is proper to use? My assumption would be NS, but I can see a compelling argument for OS as well.
What do you mean by old versus new styles? If you mean British versus American styles, you should use the style prevalent where you are.
